Genevieve M. Ward, 81, went home to Jesus Sunday, October 16, 2005. Genevieve was preceded in death by her husband, Claudy Ward and daughter, Joyce Ormonde. Survivors include daughters, JoAnn Miller and husband, Clyde, Janet Ward and husband, Steve Zamora; grandchildren, Kathy Skalbeck, Kay Lee Currier, Jennifer Rosenthal, and Corey Rosenthal; great-grandchildren, JoHannah, Ty, and Josh Skalbeck, Brandon and Morgan Currier; sister, Frances Peckumn and husband, Dale; nieces, Pam, Sarah, and Betty; nephew, Dale; cousins, Wanita McGlothlin and Loren Blakely. Services will be held Friday, October 21, 2005, at 1:00 p.m., at Blake Road Baptist Church, 1704 Blake Road SW. Interment will follow at Fairview Memorial Park.
