Bonifacio M. Bustamante, 68, a resident of Albuquerque since 1986, passed away on Wednesday, October 12, 2005. Bonifacio was born June 4, 1937 the son of Conception and Magdalena Martinez Bustamante in Hatch, New Mexico. He was retired from the New Mexico Highway Department. He played guitar music, it was his life. Boni was known for his music. He is survived by his wife, Theresa A. Bustamante of the family home; one son, Tony R. Bustamante of Santa Fe; one daughter, Angela Michelle Bustamante Chapman of Santa Fe; three brothers, Valentine, Larry,and Cesario Bustamante; four sisters, Gloria Tarin, Priscilla Jeremiah, Dominica Marquez, and Evangeline Casaus. A Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 16, 2005 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. in the Family Room at Vista Verde Mortuary, Sara Rd. at Meadowlark Ln., Rio Rancho. The Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 5415 Fortuna Rd. NW, Albuquerque. The Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated on Monday, October 17, 2005 at 9:00 a.m. at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church with interment to follow in Vista Verde Memorial Park in Rio Rancho. Pallbearers will be Steve Tarin, Ron Carrasco, Leroy Marquez, Maxine Casaus, Luanne Bustamante, and Bobbie Tarin. Honorary Pallbearers are Larry Bustamante and Cid Bustamante.
