Obituary for COOPER

Published in the Albuquerque Journal on Wednesday October 12, 2005

Charmaine (Elledge) Cooper, born May 7, 1954 in Albuquerque, NM, was unexpectedly taken from this earth on October 9, 2005. She loved to crack jokes and had a quick wit, just as her idol, Lucille Ball. She was an excellent seamstress and avid hockey fan. She loved colorful clothing, turquoise jewelry, fishing at Heron Lake with her companion Steve, and most of all her son, James. She graduated from St. Joseph School of Nursing in Fort Worth, TX and spent most of her life caring for others. She is survived by her companion, Steve Ingram and her son, James. Other survivors include James' father, David; her siblings, John, Mary, Martha, Monica, and F.X. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews, Eli, Andy, Elizabeth, Paul, David, Mary Catherine, and Peter; and by her many relatives, extended family, and friends who loved her. She will be dearly missed by everyone whose lives she touched. Her life will be celebrated and her ashes spread on Wednesday at Heron Lake.
