Obituary for BUGG

Alan Henry Bugg, age 50, passed away in the University of New Mexico Hospital on Friday, October 7, 2005 following a fierce battle with West Nile Virus Encephalitis. Alan Bugg was born July 4, 1955 in Albuquerque NM. He attended and graduated from the Tucumcari School System in 1975. He was employed during his lifetime by his parents of their farms and ranch, the Matador Cattle Company, Tucumcari EMS, Quay County Sheriff's Office, Quay County Detention Center and for the City of Tucumcari. He was a member of the B P O Elks Lodge 1172 of Tucumcari. The NM Cattle Growers Assoc. the Tucumcari Crime Stoppers. He received a kidney-pancreas transplant on June 17, 2005 in Minneapolis, MN. He is survived by his wife, Catherine and their son, Quinten Lee Bugg, both of Tucumcari, NM; Alan's two brothers: Buddy Manning and John R. Bugg, both of Tucumcari NM; a host of cousins; two nephews; aunts, and uncles. Memorial Services will be conducted on Friday, October 14, 2005 at 1:00 p.m. in the First Presbyterian Church. Rev. Iola Allender, minister of First Presbyterian Church and Rev. Ben Larzelere. Minister of Christ Lutheran Church of Santa Fe, will officiate. The family suggests for those who wish, donations may be made to the First Presbyterian Church of Tucumcari, the Tucumcari Helping Hands Hospice, the 4-H Foundation, or to our favorite charity in memory of Alan H. Bugg.
