Marcus M. Herrera Went to lie with the Lord. Saturday, October 8, 2005. Mr. Herrera was preceded in death by a son, Patrick Herrera; and a grandson, Andrew Herrera. He is survived by his wife, Kella Herrera; one son, Larry J. and wife, Rose Herrera; two grandchildren, Matthew and Teresa Herrera who he loved very much. Brothers, Joe Herrera and wife, Vita of Albuquerque; Mike Saavedra and wife, Beatrice of Socorro; sisters, Maria Jaramillo and husband, George, Sadie Herrera and husband Gilbert, of Albuquerque, Virginia Pineda and John of Socorro. Marcus was a World War II Navy Veteran. He served 40 years with Sandia National Laboratories in Albuquerque. He served with the CCC camp in Bosque de Apache. He was a member of the American Legion and active member of Holy Family Church. A Rosary will be held Tuesday, October 11, 2005 at 7:00 p.m. at Holy Family Church. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, October 12, 2005 also at Holy Family Church where the Mass will be celebrated at 9:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Joseph Saavedra, Mike Herrera Ernie Torres, James Herrera, Ron Jaramillo, and Joseph Baca. Arrangements by: Salazar & Sons Mortuary 400 Third St. SW 247-4124
