Sammy Peralta 44 passed away at home on October 6, 2005, from a massive stroke. He is preceded in death by his beloved father Juan and is now dancing with him in heaven. He was born January 3, 1961, in Albuquerque, NM where he resided. He began calling Bingo 29 years ago for the Knights of Columbus then continued his career at Rio Rancho Bingo and was recently working at Isleta Gaming Palace. He was a great son, brother, uncle, and friend. He was a very generous man and nothing mattered to him more than helping others. He will be missed and always loved by his mother, Petra; his sister, Mary Ann Torrez and husband, Dave; his brother, John; his brother, James and wife Eileen; his baby sister, Cassandra Piar and husband, James; many nieces and nephews; and his best friend Steve. Public visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, October 11 in the Riverside Funeral Home Chapel with a Rosary to follow at 7:00 p.m. at the Queen of heaven Church. Funeral Mass will be on Wednesday, October 12 at 10:00 a.m. at the Queen of Heaven Church 5211 Phoenix Ave., NE with burial to follow at the Mount Calvary cemetery.
