Neile Suzanne Gurule, daughter of Carol Rickert Asbury and her husband Ted Asbury, and Max Gurule and sister of Max Gurule III died from complications of pneumonia on Tuesday, October 4, 2005. Neile had returned from California to visit her son, Sean, on his 8th birthday and his adoptive parents, Mark and Janice Baczek. Neile's son and her cat were always closest to her heart. She leaves behind her dear childhood friend who stayed with her until the end, Christy Roth, and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Her family wishes to thank Steve McKernan and his staff at UNMH for the wonderful and considerate care given Neile in her last days. Tonya Boyett, Jessica, Mich, Kristy and Constance were especially sensitive to how ill Neile was. Cremation has already taken place. A private Memorial Service for the family will be held Saturday, October 22, 2005 at 10 a.m. at Aspen Funeral Alternatives at 1935 Juan Tabo NE.
