Sarah Jean McPhee, 26, passed away on October 2, 2005. She was born in Houston, TX, where she attended school and grew up in League City. She and her family moved to Aurora, Ontario, Canada in 1992, before moving to Albuquerque in 1996. Sarah graduated from La Cueva High School in 1997, then attended New Mexico State University in Las Cruces, NM. She was preceded in death by her mother, Debra Ann McPhee; her grandparents, Herbert "Pete" Baker and Mary Cyrilla Williams McPhee. She is survived by her father, John Everett McPhee of Houston, TX; her son, Everett Shelman Tester of Las Cruces; her grandmother, Pearl Alyene Baker, of Las Cruces; and grandfather, John "Scotty" McPhee of New Hartford, NY. She is also survived by aunts and uncles, Alice McPhee Relyea of Liverpool, NY, Sherry Baker Graves, Herb Baker, Michael Baker, and Gerry Baker, which reside in Texas, as well as numerous cousins and friends. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the SPCA, as Sarah loved animals. Services will be held in Merkel, TX at a later date. Sarah was loved and will be missed.
