Obituary for ANDERSEN

William (Bill) Eugene Andersen passed away Friday, September 16, 2005, in Albuquerque, NM, with his family at his side. He was born in Edmore, MI, on October 31, 1923, and was raised in Michigan where he attended the University of Michigan until he was drafted into the army during World War II. After serving in the war, Bill finished college at the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque. He worked as a manufacturer's representative in New Mexico and California before retiring. In 2000, Bill moved to Ramah, NM, to be near his family. Survivors include his son, Kurt Andersen, of Ramah; sister, Doris Moore, of Stanton, MI; and grandson, Ian Andersen, of Las Cruces, NM. Bill was preceded in death by his parents, William Andersen and Astrid Jensen Andersen; sons, Mark Andersen, Ted Andersen, and Dane Andersen. A memorial to celebrate Bill's life will be held at a later date. Memorial donations to a personal charity of choice are requested in lieu of flowers by family. Bill was a kind and gentle man who will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
