John Leroy Williams, 53, a resident of Rio Rancho, passed away on Monday September 26, 2005. John was born December 31, 1951 in Greenville, PA to Emory and Laura Kimmel Williams. He is survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Karen Williams; two children, Jason and Amanda Williams of Rio Rancho; his parents, Emory and Laura Williams of Rio Rancho; sister, Connie Gribus and husband, Lawrence of CO; two nieces, Cynthia Roberts and Dana Gribus. He was involved with The Boy Scouts of America and The Special Olympics. John loved camping and fishing and had a gift of wood working. He was always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need and he was an advocate for special needs children. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, October 1, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Sunrise Funeral Options West, 2400 Southern Blvd., Rio Rancho.
