Obituary for NORIEGA

Daniel Nazario Noriega, 25, passed away, Saturday, September 24, 2005 of injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He was born February 4, 1980 in Albuquerque, the son of Dolores Vallejos and Nazario Noriega. Daniel was reared and educated in Grants, and graduated from Grants High School in 1998 with honors. He attended UNM for two years after graduation, then transferred to TVI where he met the love of his life, Lauren. They were the proud and loving parents of a beautiful son, Sebastian. Barbequing and the outdoors were his favorite pastimes. He enjoyed family, and friends, and loved to have them in his home. Survivors include his mother of Grants; and his father of Gallup; sister, Jessica Noriega and nephew, Tyler Fuell, Albuquerque; half-brother, AJ Noriega, Gallup; grandparents, Charlet and Augustine Olguin, Grants; aunt, Geraldine and husband, Chris Lucero, Grants; uncles, James and wife, Sharon Trujillo, Grants; Arthur and wife, Theresa Trujillo, San Fidel; Tom Trujillo, TX; several cousins of Grants. The Holy Rosary will be recited Thursday, September 29, 2005, 7:00 p.m. at St. Theresa's Catholic Church, 400 E. High St. in Grants, NM. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday, September 30, 2005 at 9:00 a.m. at St. Joseph on the Rio Grande Catholic Church, 5901 St. Josephs Dr. NW with Father Frank Prieto, celebrant.
