Gilbert M. Mr. Gilbert M. Lopez, 83, a resident of Albuquerque passed away on September 22, 2005. Mr. Lopez is survived by one daughter, Lorraine Lopez; one son, Joseph Lopez; one brother, Manuel Lopez; three sisters, Rosemary, Theresa and Margie; five grandchildren, Monique, Brian, Ronald, Chastidy and Millard; nine great grandchildren, Jada, Anthony, Jasiah, Chlorissa, Ronnie Jr., Antonio, Jude, Andrew and Tiana; several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Mr. Lopez was preceded in death by his wife, Marie Lopez, two sons, Ronald Lopez and Stanley Lopez and a grandson, Jerry Lopez. Mr. Lopez was a member of the Catholic Church and a Veteran of the United States Army serving in World War II. A visitation for Mr. Lopez will be Monday morning from 8:30 a.m. until 9:00 a.m. at St. Joseph on the Rio Grande Catholic Church, 5901 St. Joseph Place NW with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 9:00 a.m. by Father Frank Prieto. Interment with Military Honors by the United States Army will follow at the Santa Fe National Cemetery at 11:30 a.m. Pallbearers will be, Joseph Lopez, Brian Lopez, Ronald Lopez, Millard Sumrall, Ruben Saiz and John Anthony Montoya.
