Ella "Sue" Dawson Wyant, age 88, went home to be with the Lord on September 11, 2005 (a significant date for a significant Lady!!) Sue Wyant was born in Wayne County, KY on March 1, 1917. She has been a resident of Albuquerque for 41 years. Sue was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Dallas Wyant. Sue was also preceded in death by six siblings; her only surviving sister, Alma Buswell, formerly of Albuquerque, resides in Lexington, KY. Sue is also survived by her two daughters, her youngest, Dee Bauer, along with her family; John Bauer, Suzanne Bauer, and Holly Bauer, all of Albuquerque, and by Carolyn Lampson, her eldest daughter and loving caretaker for many years. "Mama Sue" is also survived by Carolyn's children; Stacy Abruzzo, and Kristy Franchini, both of Albuquerque, Jeffrey Lampson, of Gilbert, AZ; and also by her "adopted" grandchildren: Louis Abruzzo, Paul Franchini , Lisa Lampson, and Joey Coss. "Grandma Sue" was adored and will be greatly missed by her four great-grandchildren: Kelsey Abruzzo, Shauna Abruzzo, Briana Franchini, and Trevor Lampson. "Grandma Sue" will always be remembered by her family for her funny sense of humor, her fabulous cooking, her gift of encouragement, her warm hugs, her love for her family, her love for the ocean, and, of course, for bringing way too many Christmas presents! Sue Wyant was laid to rest at a family ceremony at Vista Verde Memorial Park on Wednesday, September 14, 2005. Friends and family are invited to a "celebration" of her life on Sunday, September 25, 2005 at 1:00 p.m. at Glory Christian Fellowship at 2417 Wyoming Blvd N.E. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you make a donation to the charity of your choice in her name.
