Joseph Able Sanders, Jr., age 38, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away Monday, September 12, 2005 at his home. Joseph was born in Albuquerque to Joseph and Margaret Sanders on July 27, 1967. He was raised in Albuquerque and graduated from Albuquerque High School in 1985 and immediately joined the US Army. He received an honorable discharge as a war veteran. Joseph is survived by the love of his life, his son, Joey (Blue-Blue) Sanders; mother, Margaret Murphy and husband, Fred; father, Joseph Sanders, Sr. and wife, Stella; two brothers, Samuel Sanders and wife, Renee, Jesse Murphy and April; three sisters, Naomi Payton and husband, Robert, Rachelle Sanders, Cynthia Peelor and husband, Brian; step-brothers and sisters, Darlene Gonzales and husband, Juan, Nathaniel Murphy and Jeanette, Jay Murphy, Eric Murphy and Elizabeth and Nellie Murphy-Smith and husband, Mark. Joseph is also survived by beloved aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews and cherished friends. Service will be held on Monday, September 19, 2005 at 9:00 a.m. at French Mortuary-Westside Chapel. A graveside service will be held at 1:30 p.m. also on Monday at Santa Fe National Cemetery with Chaplain (Col.) Lemuel Boyles officiating. Friends and family may offer condolences through www.frenchmortuary.com. The family will be opening their home to any friends and relatives after the Santa Fe Service on Monday, September 19, 2005.
