Beatrice, "Bea" E. (Perea) IN LOVING MEMORY OF Beatrice "Bea" E. Gallegos (Perea) Bea passed away peacefully, at home with her loved ones by her side, on September 12, 2005. She was 79 years old and a lifelong resident of Albuquerque. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, aunt, and grandmother. She is preceded in death by grandson, Jason Kerr. Bea is survived by her husband of 53 years; Ret. AF. SMSgt Walter Gallegos of Albuquerque, NM; son, Charles W. (Charlie) Gallegos of Albuquerque, NM; daughter, Ruth Kerr and husband, Wayne of Glen Burnie, MD; nephew, Robert Sias and wife, Precilla of Albuquerque, NM; grandchildren, Brandi Gallegos and Jeremy Gallegos of Albuquerque, NM and Jessica Kerr of Dundalk, MD. She had many interests and talents. Bea loved to cook (she would jump to the kitchen when friends or relatives came by), she loved to fish and what an angler she was, crocheting (she made many afghans for family and friends) and she always had fun trying her luck on the slot machines. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Viewing will be held Monday, September, 19, 2005 from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., family visitation is from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. at Riverside Funeral Home. Mass will take place at Holy Ghost Church, Tuesday, September 20, 2005 at 9:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Lonely is the home without you, Life to us is not the same. And the world would be like heaven, If we could have you back again. A light from our household gone, A voice we loved is still, A place is vacant in our home, That never can be filled. May the god of love and mercy Care for our loved one who is gone, And bless with consolation, Those left to carry on. The happy hours we once enjoyed, How sweet their memory still. But death has left a vacant place, This world can never fill. How dearly we loved you, And prayed you might live, But Jesus just beckoned, And we had to give. God gave us the strength to bear it, And courage to fight the blow, What it meant to loose you, God alone will ever know Riverside Funeral Home of Albuquerque 225 San Mateo NE 505-764-9663
