Obituary for RAEL

HELEN RAEL, formerly of Santa Fe, currently of Albuquerque, passed away on Saturday, September 10, 2005 following a courageous battle with cancer. Graduated 1978 from Santa Fe High School, 1st year at the College of Santa Fe, NMSU Business Administration (Bachelors) minor in accounting, received a teaching degree at UNM, she taught keyboarding and accounting at Santa Fe High School. She was preceded in death by her father, Trinidad Silva; grandmother, Rosarito Silva; uncle, Arthur Lucero; cousin, Anita Lucero; cousin, Sammy Lucero; uncle, Leroy Silva; and aunt, Erlinda Chavez. She is survived by her loving husband, Michael Rael; children, Amanda, Nick, Angelique (Honey); mother, Connie Smith; siblings, David Silva and wife, Felice, Steve Silva and wife, Eileen, Theresa Montoya; and in-laws, Alice Rael and Mel Rael; among numerous aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, cousins, and other in-laws, dear friends. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 14, 2005 at 5:30 p.m. at St. Johns the Baptist Catholic Church. A Rosary will be recited on Wednesday, September 14, 2005 at 6:30 p.m. at St. Johns the Baptist Catholic Church. The mass will be celebrated on Thursday, September 15, 2005 at 10:00 a.m. St. Johns the Baptist Catholic Church. Interment will follow at the Rosario Cemetery.
