Obituary for VIGIL

Gloria Roybal Vigil, 73, a resident of Albuquerque for 52 years, died on September 8, 2005. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 47 years, Amado Vigil. She is survived by her loving children, Lucille Lucero and husband, Modesto, Jeanette Reece and husband, Linn, Glenda Vigil, Don Vigil and wife, JoLynne, all of Albuquerque; grandchildren, Jerome, Jared, Blake, Brett, Amanda, Nancy, Jocelyn, Rebekah, Julian and Joshua; sisters, Lola Maestas, Lucy Lovato, Stella Maestas and husband, Joe; brother, Ross Roybal and wife, Bernie; sisters-in-law Rose Tapia, Mary Bartolotta and husband, John, and Celia Boyd; and many adoring nieces, nephews, family members and friends. Gloria retired from the North Valley Senior Center in 1995. She was as active member of the American Legion Post 69. Gloria loved her family, friends, life and God with unending passion. She will be missed more than words can convey. Rosary will be held Sunday, September 11, 2005 at 6:30 p.m. at St. Therese Little Flower Catholic Church, 3400 4th St NW, with Isidro and Josie Martinez reciting. Mass will be celebrated on Monday, September 12, 2005 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Therese Little Flower Church with Father Ron Carrillo, Celebrant. Interment will take place at Santa Fe National Cemetery at a later date.
