Richard Alfred Frank: In the end, the true measure of a man is not the wealth he leaves behind, but the richness of the memories he gave to others. In that respect, Dad, Grandpa, Brother, and Uncle was the most successful man we know. Richard A. Frank, a resident of Albuquerque, went home to the Lord on Wednesday, August 31, 2005 at the age of 81. Richard was born in Clayton, NM on July 10, 1924. He was a veteran of World War II serving in the Asiatic-Pacific. Richard retired from the Los Alamos National Laboratory in 1986. Prior to his work at the Labs, Richard owned his own studio, Dick Frank's Photography Studio, and then worked for Mac Chevrolet. Richard also spent his time as a member of the Knights of Columbus and the Lion's Club. His most proud accomplishments during his life is his loving family. Mass will be celebrated at St. Bernadette's Catholic Church, 11401 Indian School Road, on Friday, September 2, 2005 at 11:00 am. Reception will follow. Officiating will be Father Ron Carillo. A private family burial will be held at Santa Fe National Cemetery at a later date. Richard is survived by his wife, Jane, of fifty nine years; six children, Richard, Joey, Beverly, Bobby, Renee and Donald; 14 grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
