Margia L. Moffett, 76, a longtime resident of Belen, passed away Sunday, August 28, 2005 surrounded by her family. She was born on February 3, 1929 in Vanoss, OK. Margia is survived by her daughter, Hazel Chavez and husband, Dennis of Bosque; sons, Mount Taylor Moffett and wife, Dolores of Belen, Arthur Moffett and wife, Tommie of Clovis; grandchildren, Lisa Thompson, Denise Chavez, Leona Chavez, Alesha Dillander, Lila Major, Aurora Moffett, Zuriyel Moffett, Greg Hill, Naomi Jackson, and Richard Moffett; great-grandchildren, Jessica Thompson, Braeden Torrez, Lithany Devontenno, Kameron Major, Jamie Hill, Tracii Hill, and Corbin Moffett; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. Mrs. Moffett was preceded in death by her loving husband, Mt. Taylor Moffett; son, Eugene Moffett; and grandson, Lawrence Romero. She was a caring mother who devoted her life to the care of her disabled son, along with the care of her entire family. She will be deeply missed by all. There will be a memorial held in her honor Saturday, September 3, 2005, 10:00 a.m., at the home of Hazel and Dennis Chavez, 63 Armijo Road, Bosque, NM.
