Nick H. Ulibarri, age 72, a loving and devoted husband, Daddy, Grandpa, and Papa, went home to be with the Lord peacefully at home in the arms of his loving family on August 20, 2005. Nick was born on May 16, 1933 in Santa Rosa, NM. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jose and Ramona Ulibarri; brother, Jimmy Joe Ulibarri; precious daughter, Joan Ulibarri Estrada; and granddaughter, Jenna. Nick is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Trancy; daughters, Debbie Wasson and husband, Tom, Jane Ulibarri and fiance, Mike Parra, Victoria Serna and husband, Martin, Jeanette Connolly and husband, Kevin, Cindi Lujan and husband, Fredi; His grandchildren who he loved with all his heart: Eric, Stephanie, Josh, Justin, Gavin, Tomas, Jacob, and his new precious grandson, Aydan; and his great-granddaughter, Janae Riley that brought such joy to his heart; sisters, Sophie Griego and Julia Ulibarri who were so special and loved by him. A Rosary will be recited on Tuesday, August 23, 2005 at 6:00 p.m. at the Chapel of Sunrise Funeral Options 7601 Wyoming Blvd NE. The Celebration of Mass of Christian Burial will be held at the Shrine of St. Bernadette 1800 Martha Street NE at 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 24, 2005. Internment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park. Nick was an inspiration to all who knew him especially for his dedication and love for his family and friends. He will be deeply missed.
