Ramon J. Rodriguez went home to be with the Lord on August 22, 2005 at the age of 78. He was born on July 20, 1927 in Gallup, NM. He is preceded in death by his brother, Miguel Rodriguez. Mr. Rodriguez in survived by his wife of 46 years, Genevieve Rodriguez; son, John Rodriguez and wife, Lori; daughter, Betty Rodriguez; grandchildren, Tanner and Tyler Rodriguez; brother-in-law, Ray Romero and sister-in-law, Vina Salas. Ramon will be deeply missed by all. Visitations will be held on Wednesday from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Garcia Mortuary with at Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Reception will follow after the Rosary in the Celebration of Life Room also at Garcia Mortuary. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday morning at 11:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Burial will follow at the Santa Fe National Cemetery at 1:30 p.m. Pallbearers will be Lawrence Gallegos, Aidan Gallegos, Geremy Salas, John Anderson, Michael Navarro and Albert Navarro.
