Wilbur F. "Babe" Coombs passed peacefully in his sleep August 22, 2005. He is survived by his wife, Gloria of 58 years; and his sister, "Eddie" Sands. He had four children: Connie, Carla, Guy (Sherri), Tom E. (Sherri). He had nine grandchildren: Erika, Jacob, Korey, Jessie, Jamie, Bailey, Shanna, Taylor, and Tyler. In lieu of flowers, the family wishes for donations to be made to The American Heart Association. Services will be held at Central United Methodist Church, 1615 Copper, on Saturday, August 27, 2005 at 10:30 a.m.
