James Linderoth Anderson, 80, passed away on August 21, 2005. He is survived by his three sons, Jerry, James Junior, and Jeffrey; as well as his grandson, James III. He was born in Washington State to immigrants from Denmark and Norway and inherited the wandering heart of a Viking. James made his home in Albuquerque for much of the last 2 decades, as well as for many years following World War II. In between, he spent numerous years living in Hawaii, Okinawa, and Korea. He had a long and prosperous career with the Army Corps of Engineers. He was married to Jean Reed, daughter of Viola and Homer Reed, a long-time printer for the Albuquerque Tribune. He is also survived by his second wife, Kim Ji-Sue, from Korea. He was deeply loved and will be greatly missed. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Strong-Thorne Mortuary (842-8800).
