John E. Kidd, 76, a resident of Albuquerque since 1962, died Sunday, August 14, 2005. He was born in London, England in 1928. Mr. Kidd is survived by his wife, Ellen Kidd of Albuquerque; daughter, B.J. Zimprich and husband, Mike of Albuquerque; son, Quentin Kidd and wife, Holly of Newport News, VA; grandsons, Ron Burnett of Colorado Springs, CO, and Greg Burnett and wife, Kevin Ann of Odessa, TX; great-granddaughters, Keely, Kammy, Calysta, and Brooke; great-grandson, Zach, all of Odessa, TX; great-great-grandson, Taylor, also of Odessa, TX; twin sister, Gladys Richards of Pismo Beach, CA; sister, Eileen Hutchinson and husband, Kip of Cornwall, England. Mr. Kidd retired from Duke City Lumber in 1989. He served in the Royal Signal Corps during WWII. Cremation has taken place and Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, August 20, 2005, 10:30 a.m., at French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel.
