Dorothy (nee Peterson) Rothe, age 91, a resident of Rio Rancho and a longtime resident of Los Alamos, passed away Wednesday, August 10, 2005. Dorothy was a loving wife and devoted mother. She was a retired employee of Los Alamos Scientific Lab. She enjoyed many friendships and playing golf. We will miss her. Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband Ernest; two brothers, Howard (Elsie) and Harold (Doris). She is survived by her sons, Ernest, of Rio Rancho, NM, and Ronald (Sondra) of Houston, TX; grandsons, Eric (Kerry) of The Woodlands, TX and Carl of Houston, TX; and her brother, Gene (Phyllis) of Pueblo West, CO. The Service for Dorothy will be held on Monday, August 15, 2005 at 10:30 a.m. in the Chapel of Vista Verde Mortuary, Sara Rd. at Meadowlark Ln., Rio Rancho.
