RONALD STANLEY - On the morning of Friday, August 12,2005, Ron Guillemette passed away peacefully at his home in the North Valley, Albuquerque, at the age of 61, following a long illness. He was born on August 1, 1944, into a French Canadian family in Maine. Ron worked for several years as an actor and director in the New Mexico theatre arts community and for the last twenty years as an educator and administrator. Most recently he served as Deputy Bureau Chief the Education Department with the New Mexico Department of Corrections. Ron is survived by his parents; two brothers and his son, Giovanni, who is living in Seattle. For the past fifteen years Ron has shared his life with his companion, Melvin Bethke. His kindness, compassion, intelligence, creativity and integrity will be remembered and missed by a multitude of friends and associates. Memorial gifts may be made to the charity of your choice.
