Carmelita Karo, longtime resident, passed away while in Colorado. She was a resident of Albuquerque since the early 40's, coming from Wyoming to work with the Navy in the war effort. She is survived by her sister, Barbara Hollowwa of Albuquerque. Matthew Connors of Livermore, CA; her sons, Tim Karo of Pacifica, CA and James C. Karo of Golden, CO. A Memorial Service and celebration of her Life will be held on Saturday, August 27, 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Fatima Church, 4020 Lomas Blvd. Call 303-279-0789 for additional information.
