Dean Zanin, 79, a resident of Albuquerque since 1969, died Saturday, August 8, 2005. She is survived by her husband of 55 years, John O. Zanin of Albuquerque; children, Sonja Elliott and husband, Steven of Duncan, OK, John P. Zanin and Mark J. Zanin, both of Albuquerque; grandchildren, Jeremiah Zanin and wife, Betsy of Champaine, IL and Justin Zanin of Albuquerque; brothers, Freddy Downing and wife, Peggy of California, Royce Downing of Arizona; sisters, Wanda Moore of Amarillo, TX and Darlene Baker and husband, Jack of Arizona. Mrs. Zanin was a member of the Albuquerque Rose Society. She volunteered at All Faith's Receiving Home. Cremation has taken place and Memorial Services will be held Friday, 2:00 p.m., at Chester T.
