Norma E. Johnson, 85, an Albuquerque resident since 1959, died Saturday, August 6, 2005. Mrs. Johnson is survived by her sons, Ron Johnson of Rio Rancho, NM and Jim Johnson and wife, Rita of Albuquerque; granddaughter, Marina Johnson Zagar and husband, Gary, of Redwood City, CA; grandson, Jamie Johnson and wife, Veronica of Albuquerque; great-grandchildren, Joshua and Zachery Zagar, Morgan Johnson; brother, John D. Copple and wife, Ardis of Racine, MN. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ellery Johnson in 1994. Mrs. Johnson was born and raised in Nebraska where she taught in a one-room schoolhouse in the late 1930s. She retired from Sears' Credit Department at Coronado Center.
