Obituary for CARINO

Michael N. Carino, 69, passed away suddenly Friday, August 5, 2005 at Princeton Place Nursing Home. A resident of Albuquerque since 1971, Michael was a graphic designer and painter. Born in the Philippine Islands in 1936, Michael came to the U.S. in 1945 at the age of nine. He married Betty Jackson in Elmhurst, IL, in 1962. Together they had four children; Mark Carino of Webster, MN, Micky Carino-Katzenberger of Albuquerque, Jeff Carino of Half Moon Bay, CA, and Joel Carino of San Francisco, CA. Michael is survived by Betty, their children, and grandchildren, Kellam Carino and Isaac Katzenberger. As per the family's wishes, no formal services are scheduled. They will be gathering at the family home over the next few days to remember Michael and celebrate his life. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the American Heart Association would be appreciated.
