Obituary for JACKSON

Robert Wallace Jackson passed away on Friday, July 29, 2005, in Albuquerque, NM. He was born on September 16, 1926, in Guymon, OK, to Wallace and Berenice Jackson. He graduated from Guymon H.S. He attended Southwestern State University, in Weatherford, OK, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Pharmacy. Bob served his country, as a Sgt. in the Air Force, during WWII. He was a member of First Baptist Church, in Guymon. He married Darleen Nasset on August 16, 1953. He and his father owned and operated Jackson Drug and Jackson Pharmacy Shop in Guymon, OK. Bob was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Betty Dean Kell. Survivors include his wife, Darleen, of Albuquerque, NM; his brother, Boyd Jackson of Tuttle, OK; two daughters, Nancy Chambers of Midland, TX and Susan Kinneer of Phoenix, AZ; two sons, Ken Jackson and Rob Jackson, both of Albuquerque, NM; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Services will be held at Henson-Novak Funeral Home in Guymon, OK on Thursday, August 4, 2005 at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Derek Cox, pastor of First Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will follow at Elmhurst Cemetery by Henson-Novak Funeral Directors of Guymon.
