FRANCES. Mrs. Frances Smythe, 90, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away on July 30, 2005. Mrs. Smythe is survived by her loving children, Beatrice Hall, Ruth Williams, Cora Baca, Pete Marquez, and David Marquez. Mrs. Smythe is also survived by four sisters, Julia Trujillo, Sofie Martinez, Elsie Montoya and husband, Louie, Mary Romero and husband, Jr.; one brother, Alex Duran and wife, Judy; 36 grandchildren; 81 great-grandchildren; and 17 great-great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, cousins- and friends. Mrs. Smythe was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Smythe, daughters, Elsie, Frances, and Veronica; grandsons, Roy, Billy, and Jerry. Mrs. Smythe was a member of the Catholic Church. A visitation for Mrs. Smythe will be Tuesday evening from 6:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. in the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. A final visitation will be Wednesday morning from 8:30 a.m. until 9:00 am at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 5415 Fortuna NW with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 9:00 am.
