Obituary for LIBASSI

Frank P. Libassi, 74, passed away peacefully on July 26, 2005. Born in Breed Township, WI, he enlisted in the United States Marine Corp in 1950. He received the Korean Service Medal, United Nations Service Medal, Good Conduct Medal (USMC), and the National Defense Service Medal. A Rio Rancho resident for 35 years and the owner of Sunbelt Concrete, Inc., Frank was a loving husband and father and best friend to anyone fortunate enough to know him. He is survived by the love of his life, his wife of 54 years, Emma; daughter, Linda Leigh and husband, Terry, and granddaughter, Alexandra of Hauser, ID; daughter, Laura Libassi of Rio Rancho; son, Michael Libassi and wife, Lori, and granddaughters, Taylor and Sarah of Vandalia, OH; sister, Rose Rush of Iron Mountain, MI; and sister, Angie Coraci of Lakeland, FL. He had a passion for the outdoors, especially fishing and hunting. His big heart, witty humor, and zest for life will always be in our hearts. We will miss you immensely and remember you fondly for you were one of a kind. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date. Info/email F_Libassi@aol.com.
