Nora Tapia Lopez, age 93, a lifelong resident of New Mexico, born in Rivera, NM, passed away on Saturday, July 23, 2005. She is survived by her husband, Adan Lopez of 60 years of marriage; two daughters, Margie Lovato and partner, Ambrosio Martinez, Dorothy and husband, Phil Marrujo; grandchildren, Alex Lovato and wife, Nanette, Lorrie Lujan and husband, Wayne, Melinda Garcia and husband, Art and Arthur Romero; great-grandchildren, Vanessa Sanchez and husband, Roman, Rochelle Torrez, Mercy and Gabriel Marrujo, Anthony, Adam and Ashley Lujan and Dominic Garcia; two step great-grandchildren, Matthew and Christopher Garcia; two great-great-grandchildren, Roman and Feliz Sanchez; one sister, Connie Armijo; three brothers, Phil Tapia and wife, Martha, Mike Tapia and wife, Esther, and Charles Tapia. She was preceded in death by father, Jesus Maria Tapia; mother, Cruzita Pacheco Tapia; three sons, Manuel, Phil and Sonny Boy Romero; three sisters, Adelina Montoya, Jennie Hernandez and Helen Armijo; two brothers, Juan and Joe Tapia; grandchildren, Patrick and Michelle Romero. Pallbearers will be Alex Lovato, Phil Marrujo, Art Garcia, Roman Sanchez, Anthony Lujan and Adam Lujan. Honorary Pallbearers are Arthur Romero, Ambrosio Martinez and Wayne Lujan. The family thanks the Staff at Zia Hospice for their very special and loving care for Nora. A Rosary will be held for Nora at Queen of Heaven Church on Wednesday, July 27, 2005 at 7:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, July 28, 2005 at 10:00 a.m. also at Queen of Heaven Church, 5310 Claremont (East of San Mateo).
