Obituary for TOOKER

Nathaniel "Tan" Tooker, Jr., 69, a resident of Albuquerque, and coming to New Mexico from Virginia five years ago, passed away on Thursday, July 14, 2005. Tan was a musician and artist; he was an accomplished Jazz player; was a fine sculptor of wood, did abstract and representational pieces. He also enjoyed the symphony. He enjoyed playing bridge with his friends. Was a supporter of Public radio. Tan was preceded in death by his beloved sister, Mary Elizabeth. He is survived by his wife of 21 years, Juanita; and one sister, Susan Setzler and husband Chris. Per Tan's wishes, no services are planned at this time. Memorial contributions may be made in Tan's name to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, New Mexico Chapter, 4004 Carlisle Blvd. NE, Suite B, Albuquerque, NM 87107.
