Obituary for MOSES

Olive Plunkett Moses ended her journey on earth on Wednesday, July 13, 2005. She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Donald B. Moses; her daughter, Joanne Moses Bagley and her husband, Jim Bagley; her four grandsons, Donald Waskow and wife, Christy, of Albuquerque, William Waskow and wife, Julie, of Arizona, Justin Bagley of Albuquerque, and Jeremiah Bagley of Telluride, CO. She is preceded in death by her daughter, Alice Moses Waskow and her son, Horace J. Moses. She found delight in her four great-granddaughters, Jade Meredith Waskow of Albuquerque, and Allie and Kiran of Glendale, AZ. Her family includes her brother-in-law, Tom Moses (Kay) and nieces and nephews and their families; Thomas Moses of Anchorage, Margaret Moses Branch, Karen Moses Oltmans, Elsie Moses Hoeg, all of Albuquerque, Frank B. Mapel of San Marino, CA, Donald Mapel of Durango, and Linda Mapel MacCannell of Calgary/Durango and son-in-law, John Waskow of Albuquerque. Having been born in Vermont in 1916, she lived in Albuquerque for nearly 70 years after coming here to teach. She immediately loved the Southwest and the booming town she came to sight-unseen. She was a world traveler and loved all gatherings, where her chili dishes were highly prized by family and her many friends. Services will be Monday, July 18, 2005 at 10:00 a.m. at St. John's Cathedral at 318 Silver SW. Burial is to take place at the Santa Fe National Cemetery at 2:00 p.m. Please send memorials to charities of your choice.
