Obituary for MOORE

Kenneth Alfred Moore, a long time resident of Albuquerque, passed away at home on Tuesday, July 11, 2005. He was born on October 12, 1945 in San Fernando, California. The family moved to Albuquerque in 1954 where they build their first home. He attended Valley High School where he was a member of the F.F.A. He rode bulls in his younger years and was also a Veteran. His love of horses led him to a career as a horse race trailer. He loved all aspects of horse racing and spent many years in that profession. He was preceded in death by his parents, Oda and Elva Lou Moore and a younger brother, Oda Lee Moore. He is survived by his two children, daughter, Kristi Baca and husband, Manuel; son, Kenneth W. Moore; five grandchildren, Dasha, Shay Lynn, Matthew, Manuel Jr., and Sydnie; one sister, Phenia Reynolds; one brother, William Moore; and numerous nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends. A Memorial Service and reception will be held on Sunday, July 17, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. in the multi-purpose building at St. Therese Church, 300 Mildred NW (2 blocks S of Candelaria).
