Dawn Brewington Guffey Seeber, 77, was born July 15, 1927 in El Paso, TX. She passed away July 4, 2005. She was preceded in death by her parents, Johnny and Crystal Brewington of El Paso, and grandchildren, Zephyr Sand and Rebecca Promise Guffey. She was one of seven children and graduated from Lorretta Academy. She is survived by her children, Dawn Gottschau and husband, Lawrence, Elizabeth(Ralphy) Guffey, Lois Reynolds and husband, Eddie, and Bruce Guffey Jr. and wife, Kathy. Her grandchildren, Hunter, Rose and Rachael Gottschau, Faye Brown and husband, Don, Crystal Carey and husband, Varis, Stacy Sparenberg and husband, Andrew. Her great-grandchildren are: Zabrina Sparenberg and Robert Lee and Don Emanuel Brown III. She is also survived by her siblings, Ann Maddox, Charlie, Johnny and Harry Brewington. She is also survived by husband, Bruce Guffey Sr. and husband, John Seeber. She loved her family, oil painting, walking, knitting, and her flower gardens. Her life's motto was: Take care of yourself, be responsible for yourself, get up and walk when it hurts; love God, birds, music, laugh and let go of things you can't change, Be Happy. Dawn's treasures left behind are not gold and silver but strength, independence, humility and love. A Memorial Service will be held for the family at a later time. In lieu of flowers, please make memorial contributions to your local animal shelter. Mother loved animals.
