Obituary for LONG

Mary Nescot Long, a resident of Rio Rancho and Albuquerque since the mid-1980s, passed away on July 3, 2005 after a prolonged illness. She is survived by her only child, Lewis W. (Bill) Long and wife, Gail, of Albuquerque; a grandson, Dan Long and wife, Christine; two great-grandchildren, Zeke and Sophie Long of Albuquerque; a grandson, Jack Long and wife, Donna; two great-grandchildren, Jason and Katie Long of Little Rock, Arkansas; a daughter-in-law, Joyce C. Bryan of Albuquerque; and two sisters-in-law, Angelina Nescot of California and Dolores Nescot of Pennsylvania. Mary was born in Arona, PA on April 5, 1917 as one of nine children. She first moved to California in 1956 and then to New Mexico with her husband, Louis W. Long, who predeceased her in 1988. Mary will always be remembered as a dedicated wife, mother and friend who could always be relied upon in time of need. Her cremated remains will be interred beside those of her husband at the Vista Verde Memorial Park in Rio Rancho, NM. A Private Memorial Service for family members only will be held after interment.
