Ethel Flowers, 85, a resident of Albuquerque since 1951 and a former resident of Holland, MO. She was preceded in death by her father, Marion "Pappy" Lamkin; mother, Neely "Mammy" Moseley Lamkin; husband, John Elmer Flowers; brother, Billy Gene "Chigger" Lamkin. She is survived by her son, Alan and wife Randee Flowers of Midlothian VA; grandson, Dr. John Flowers and wife Dr. Tami Flowers of Glen Allen, VA; granddaughter, Alanna Flowers of Midlothian, VA; brothers, Henry and Clovis "Bud" Lamkin of Albuquerque and William Amos "Sam" Lamkin of Las Cruces, NM; sisters, Marian "Dot" Lally of Albuquerque, and sister, Maurine "Biggin" Menne of Memphis. TN, and numerous nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held Thursday June 30, 2005 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Strong-Thorne Mortuary, 1100 coal Ave. SE. Funeral Services will be held Friday July 1, 2005 at 10:00 a.m. in the Palm Chapel of Strong-Thorne. Interment will follow in.
