Manuel Benjamin Montoya died peacefully on Tuesday, June 28, 2005 surrounded by his family and friends. His kindness, generosity and humorous way will be greatly missed. His parents Armando and Emily Montoya of Espanola preceded him in death. He is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, "Bernie", two children; Monica Sophia Montoya and Michael Santiago Montoya and wife, Heather; two grandchildren, Mia and Remy Montoya of Albuquerque; brothers and sisters, Inez and husband, Henry Ortiz, Margaret Montoya, Antonio Montoya and wife, Martha, Ida and husband, Tony Ortiz, Victor Montoya, Ramona and husband, Ramon Martinez, Josie Montoya, Rachel and husband, James Lowe, Janet Montoya, Yolanda Aguilar, Ernest Montoya and wife, Linda; and many nieces and nephews; and many other family members and friends. Rosary will be recited Thursday, June 30, 2005, 7:00 p.m. at French Mortuary, Lomas Blvd. Chapel, 10500 Lomas Blvd., NE. Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday, July 1, 2005, John XXIII Catholic Community, 4831 Tramway Ridge Dr., NE. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Catholic Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jerry Cordova, James Lowe, Roland Martinez, Armando Aguilar, Anthony Ortiz and Eric Rivera. Friends may visit one hour prior to the Rosary.
