Herman E. Tafoya, 69, lifelong resident of Albuquerque, died Saturday, June 25, 2005. He is survived by his sisters, Rosalie J. Sandoval and husband, Daniel, and Pricilla Howard both of Albuquerque; his brothers, Bishop Arthur N. Tafoya of Pueblo Colorado, Leonard E. Tafoya and wife, Theresa of Murrieta CA, Larry R. Tafoya and wife, Viola of Las Cruces and Andrew Tafoya and wife, Kathryn of Albuquerque, as well as a large, extended family. Mr. Tafoya is preceded in death by his parents, Nicolas and Rosita Tafoya. A Vigil/Rosary service will be held Tuesday 7:00 p.m. at Queen of Heaven Catholic Church, 5310 Claremont NE. Mass will also be celebrated on Wednesday 10:00 a.m. at Queen of Heaven Catholic Church. Burial will take place at San Carlos Cemetery.
