VALENTE H. Mr. Valente H. "Shorty" Escudero, 82, a resident of Albuquerque, went to be with the Lord on June 23, 2005. Mr. Escudero is survived by his wife, Leonor; ten children, Yolanda Escudero, Pastor Val Escudero and wife, Lorraine, Jessie Talavera and husband, Rudy, Tillie Soto and Walter Lucero, Candie Guerrero and husband, Ramon, Max Escudero and wife, Velma, Elizabeth Martinez and husband, Valente, Ralph Escudero and wife, Stacey, Rose Escudero, Eva Melendez and husband, Jose; two sisters, Nena and Manuela; 36 grandchildren; 56 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A visitation for Mr. Escudero will be Sunday afternoon at Victory Outreach, 901 Sunset SW from 1:30 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. with a Service to be held at 2:00 p.m. Cremation has taken place.
