Jean Ater, 83, a resident of Albuquerque since 1953, died Wednesday, June 15, 2005. She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Reverdie Ater in 2001. She is survived by sons, Stephen Ater and wife, Aknight of Los Lunas, NM and Alan Ater and wife, Jill of Denver, CO; granddaughters, Aubrie Ater Wade and Megan Ater and grandsons, Matthew Ater and David Ater. Services will be held Saturday, June18, 2005, 9:00 a.m. at French Mortuary, 7121 Wyoming Blvd. Entombment will follow at Chester T. French Memorial Mausoleum.
