Obituary for DAVIE

Published in the Albuquerque Journal on Sunday June 05, 2005

Daniel Joseph. With great sorrow, we mourn the sudden passing of our friend and father, Daniel Joseph Davie. He is survived by his beloved family: daughter, Jennifer Rowland, son-in-law, John Rowland and granddaughter, Lillian Joy of Chatham, NJ; son, Daniel Davie and daughter-in-law, Diane Davie of Madison, NJ; sons, Ryan, Sean, and Jeff Davie of Albuquerque, NM; brothers, John Davie and Jim Davie; and many nieces and nephews. His adventurous personality and gift for gab will be greatly missed. A skilled craftsman, airplane and hot air balloon pilot, and all around great guy, Dan never went unnoticed in any room and always had a joke to tell. Born and raised in Millburn/Short Hills, NJ, Dan moved to Albuquerque in 1980 where he worked in construction, most recently as Project Manager for the Brycon Corporation. He touched the lives of all that knew him. A visitation will be held on Saturday from 2 - 4 p.m. at the Strong-Thorne Mortuary; 1100 Coal Ave. SE. Funeral Services will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, June 6, 2005 at the Strong-Thorne Mortuary. Strong-Thorne Mortuary 1100 Coal Ave. SE 842-8800
