Doyle W. Morris, 82, a resident of Albuquerque, died Saturday, May 28, 2005. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Bobbie J. Morris of Albuquerque; daughter, Michelle Fite and husband, Roger of Edmond OK; son, Kevin Morris and wife, Margaret of Albuquerque; grandchildren, Troy, Candice, Lance, Kevin Jr., and Emily; and sisters, Ruby Smith and husband, Ollie of Olton, TX and Lenore Morris and husband, Phillip of Chattanooga, TN. Doyle was a Navy Veteran, serving his country proudly during WWII in the South Pacific. He moved to New Mexico in 1960 to work as the Office Manager for the Glorieta Baptist Assembly until 1973. He was a CPA and owned his own accounting business for 32 years, some years in Santa Fe and most recently in Albuquerque. Doyle was a longtime member of First Baptist Church in Albuquerque where he served as a Deacon and on various committees. Services will be held Thursday, 10:00 a.m., at First Baptist Church, 101 Broadway NE. Interment will take place at 2:00 p.m., at Santa Fe National Cemetery.
