Obituary for PEACOCK

Howard S. Peacock passed away peacefully Friday May 20, 2005 following a short and unexpected illness in Gilbert, AZ. Howard was born March 2, 1927 in Hatch, NM. He attended NMSU where he was a star basketball player. He went on to enlist in the U.S. Navy through the end of WWII. He retired from Dixon Paper Co in 1989. Howard was preceded in death by his loving wife of 43 years, Dorothy; his parents, Virgil and Anna Peacock; his brothers, Donald, Leroy, and Allison. He is survived by his children, Jeff (Darla), Vicki (Matt) Coffey; sisters, Juanita (Phil) Eyer and Eloise Taylor; grandchildren, Stephanie and Kevin Peacock; and his faithful dog, Butch. Howard was an avid golfer, outdoor enthusiast, and a loving husband, father, and friend. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him. In lieu of flowers, the family would like donations made to the American Stroke Association (through the American Heart Assoc.)
