Malaquias Duran "Mike" age 86, passed away at home, Monday, May 23, 2005. Born in Los Pinos, NM., and retired from PNM, Mike was a wonderful husband, father, and grandfather, who loved fishing and playing his guitar. Mike was preceded in death by his parents, Bernardo and Eduvijen Duran; brother, Fred Duran, and sister, Ernestine Garcia. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Maria "Mary" O, Duran; children, Theresa Torres and husband Paul, Dolores Jaramillo, Mary Margaret Fernandez and husband Geno, Helen Marquez, Miguel Duran, Teddy Duran and Elizabeth Duran; grandchildren, Stella Levy, Ramon Torres and wife Marsha, Estevan Jaramillo, Carlos Jaramillo, Laura Johanson and husband Frank, Richard Fernandez and wife Dee Dee, Geraldine Lucero and husband Leon, Patricia Marquez, Gabriel Marquez and wife Christine; 13 great-grandchildren; sister, Margaret Valdez of Pueblo, CO; numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends who loved and will miss him. A Memorial Rosary will be recited at San Jose de Duranes on Wednesday, May 25, 2005 at 6:30 p.m. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at San Felipe Catholic Church on Thursday, May 26, 2005 at 10:00 a.m., with inurnment following at Mt.
