Obituary for BAILEY

John Linn Bailey, 91, a resident of Albuquerque, died Sunday, May 15, 2005. He is survived by his son, Frederick A. Bailey and wife, Mal-Ye of Albuquerque; daughters, Judith A. Bailey and Jean L. Nelson and husband, Ronald W., all of Albuquerque; grandchildren, Damon Schulze, Rustin Nelson, Randin Nelson, Cheri Lynne Powers and husband, Tom, David C. Bailey; six great-grandchildren; and niece, Pat Bailey Lockett and husband, Mike. Mr. Bailey was preceded in death by his devoted wife of 63 years, Ann Bailey; and brother, Martin E. Bailey. He was a charter member of Los Alamos United Methodist Church and St. Stephen's United Methodist Church in Albuquerque and current member of Trinity United Methodist Church. Mr. Bailey was a member of the I.O.O.F. for over 60 years and present member of Mesa Lodge of Albuquerque. He was active in the Dale Carnegie Alumni and served as International President. Mr. Bailey worked and retired from Los Alamos National Labs and then became a real estate broker in Albuquerque. Memorial services will be held Thursday, 4:00 p.m., at Trinity United Methodist Church, 3715 Silver SE with Pastor Tom Beach officiating.
