BERTHA M. Mrs. Bertha M. Romero, 70, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away at home in the loving arms of her family on May 9, 2005. Mrs. Romero is survived by her loving husband of 50 years Mr. Jose "Ernie" Romero; four children, Joseph C. Romero and wife, Carmen, Catherine T. Lujan and husband, Frank, Raymond A. Romero and wife, Kim, and James G. Romero; four sisters, Lupe Sturtcman, Josie Gonzales, Adela Montes, and Caroline Alderete; one brother, Filiberto Nunez Jr.; eight grandchildren, Rebecca, Valerie, and Frankie Lujan, Summer Brown, Michael and Jesse Romero, and Aaron Henderson and Tommy; 2 great-grandchildren, Fabian and Nadia Gonzalez; brother in law, Manuel Estrada; In-Laws, Sofie and Ross Romero, Bobby Romero, Martha Romero, and Leonella Rea; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Visitation for Mrs. Romero will be Thursday morning from 10:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. at St. Anne Catholic Church, 1400 Arenal SW, with a Rosary to be recited at 10:30 a.m. by Deacon Pablo Lefebre, Mass of the Resurrection will follow at 11:00 a.m., Father Daniel Balizan, presider. Interment will follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Martin Valencia, Lawrence Lopez, Bobby Joe Sturtcman, Russell Sturtcman, Philip Nunez and Tommy Romero. Honorary pallbearers will be Chepe Martinez, Mickey Martinez, Ray Lopez and Michael Romero. Arrangements by: Gabaldon Mortuary 1000 Old Coors Dr. SW 243-7861
